Aloha - Double Trouble Challenge #53

Here is my card for Double Trouble Challenge #53 "Something, Anything, Everything" and using the optional twist to use scraps and leftovers of design papers, washi tape or personalized stamped background on your project and I chose to use a scrap of pineapple design paper.   Double Dare wanted us to pair up with one of our previous partners so I chose Try Stampin' on Tuesday Sketch Challenge #450 and their optional twist "jungle".

Products Used

All products are from Stampin Up’s Tropical Oasis Suite. The background DSP and borders are SU Tropical Oasis. “Aloha” is using one of the dies from the suite. All the embellishments are stickers from the Memories & More Tropical Oasis card pack. Twine is Stampin Up also. Pretty simple. Needed to get it done.

Please follow us on Double Trouble Challenge and receive notices of our new challenge on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month, and if there is a 5th Monday we run a special one week challenge "Something, Everything, Anything".

Join us at National Goof Off Day and National Chip and Dip Day. We thought this would be a good time to Goof Off since many of us are staying at home and looking for things to do. If you have children at home maybe they would like to join, too."

Grab your favorite Chip Snacks or two... this can be potato chips, corn chips, tortilla chips, crackers, pretzels, etc. The dip is any type that goes with the chip of your choice. While you're enjoying your Chips... Look for Chip Shapes that resemble something else, or make something unique out of your snacks. But don't eat your findings until you take a photo or two and enter your Chip Shape HERE.

  1. How appropriate is pineapple paper for a jungle challenge? So very cute. Now, that potato chip is something else - what a creative mind! Love it :)

  2. Your card is beautiful and so welcoming. My expectations when we go to Hawaii's jungles; but I guess it won't be this year as plans have all been cancelled. And what a great potato chip and it's my first name initial too; but love the snake. Great job on both challenges.

  3. Thank you for choosing Try Stampin' on Tuesday as your Double Trouble partner for this week's challenge, Linda! I agree with Susan, I wish I was in the Hawaiian "jungles" about now. I'm so fed up with all the freezing temps at night still in early August. This isn't right!!! Beautiful card with all it's bright colors! Thank you for joining TSOT!!!

  4. Awesome, Linda - I'm feeling pretty attached to my Tropical Oasis suite right now, too - hubby and I had to cancel our 20th anni trip to Maui - I'm supposed to be there right now, sigh. We'll get through it, and it's lovely to have some tropical reminders right now! Thanks so much for playing at TSOT!
